In the climate of reducing alleged European Union bureaucracy, or Nanny State rules, the new Electrical Regulations seem at variance with other current initiatives. We encourage these rules and expect that the costs of any improvements will help retain the value of the property concerned. It is also anticipated that a valid electrical test will be worthwhile as they are likely to become a critical pre-requisite for mortgages and possession proceedings.
