Day and Bell acquired local centre development in Stockmoor Village Local Centre, Bridgewater, Somerset. This comprises 10,000 sq ft of ground floor retail space in seven units with a mix of retailers and services and anchored by a 4,000 sq ft Co-op Convenience Store.

Stockmoor Village is a new urban extension development to the south of Bridgwater Somerset. When completed, Stockmoor Village and the neighbouring Wilstock Village will provide 1,460 dwellings. The overall development includes public open space including a new country park, play and recreation areas, and a primary school. The scheme also includes a 70-bed care home, 11 town houses and, potentially, a family pub / restaurant.

Day and Bell negotiated a forward finance agreement with a developer and supervised the development phase with our Building Surveyors. We dealt with completion of the pre-lets of shops and further marketing of vacant units.
